Artist’s Apartment

Philosophy and inspiration

Interior design for a small flat of 50 sqm, located into the historic ‘Garbatella’ borough of Rome. The client was a young artist interested in music and theatre, he was looking for a bright, ambient, simple and comfortable space. A place that supported him in both creative and relaxing moments.

In detail

The scope of the project was to make the living room an open space but at the same time with the possibility of different functions : kitchen area, dining and relaxing area. To respect the needs of the client, we chose neutral colors for both the parquet floor and walls. We dedicated particular attention to choosing materials and finishes: natural wood in the living room and concrete tiles in the bathroom. To complete the project, a system of special lights for chromotherapy was installed in the shower, the dining area has an extendible table from 4 to 6 people, and a huge sofa that can become a double size bed for guests is in the living area.
